Accepted & prohibited waste

Listed below are the waste streams we can and can't take. If you've looked and are still unsure if your waste contains prohibited items, please don't hesitate to get in touch — one of our team will be happy to talk it through.

Examples of what we CAN remove

  • Bulky waste such as sofas, armchairs, beds, divans, tables, chairs, cupboards and desks
  • Electrical waste (WEEE) — lamps, bulbs, microwaves, ovens, cookers, computers, hair dryers, toasters
  • Garden waste, damaged sheds, light branches, bushes etc.
  • General household rubbish & bin bags
  • Carpets, underlay, laminate flooring, cardboard and packaging

Small amounts only

Heavy and dense waste — only in small amounts:

  • Bricks
  • Rubble
  • Soil
  • Plasterboard

Examples of what we CAN'T remove

  • Raw food and meat such as category 3 ABP waste
  • Licensed and unlicensed asbestos
  • Needles and sharps
  • Chemicals and solvents, including paints
  • Petrol, diesel, gas bottles & pressurised cylinders
  • Tyres (we can refer you to a specialist)
  • Explosives, ammunition, fireworks
  • Japanese knotweed and other invasive species
